BESPOKE BRIDAL
Made once, for you
At the heart of Annie Leona Bridal is the belief that a truly bespoke gown should begin with the woman who will wear it.
There are no collections to choose from and no existing gown to make your own. Instead, we begin with you. From the first conversation to the finishing touches, each bride is invited into the making of something entirely her own and watching an idea, once only imagined, come to life.
MORE THAN A DRESS…
Whether your vision is of a sweeping silk gown with an impossibly long train, the romance of delicate lace or an intricate detail you simply haven't been able to find, bespoke allows us to begin without limitation. And if the vision isn't quite formed yet, together we can explore the details, fabrics and feeling you are drawn to, shaping them into a design that feels unmistakably yours.
Designed and made by hand in our Northern Ireland studio, only a limited number of bespoke commissions are undertaken each year. Every Annie Leona gown is created individually through a close and considered process of design, toile-making and fitting. Its lines, proportions, fabrics and details are carefully considered as the gown evolves.
Made to your measurements and made only for you, the result is not simply a gown altered to become your own, but one that was yours from the very beginning.

“I have never felt as beautiful in a dress. Having a custom made bespoke wedding dress gave me confidence on my wedding day that I never felt before. I still get so many compliments on my dress, from both friends and strangers.” — Emma

THE BESPOKE EXPERIENCE
Your gown will take shape over a series of appointments, from our first conversation and initial sketches through to toile fittings and the final finishing touches.
Discover the bespoke process below.
-
Our journey begins with a private consultation at the Annie Leona studio. We’ll talk through your wedding, the ideas and references you’re drawn to, and how you imagine feeling in your gown. You don't need to arrive with every detail decided, this is simply where we begin to discover what your dress might become.
-
Following your consultation, Annie will develop an original design created especially for you, considering silhouette, proportion, fabrication and detail. Fabrics and finishes are explored together before the final design is agreed and the making process begins.
-
Before your final gown is cut, its shape and fit are developed through a toile, an initial version of the gown made specifically to your measurements. Through a series of fittings, the silhouette and proportions are refined until everything feels exactly as it should.
-
Your final gown is then individually cut, constructed and finished by hand in the Annie Leona studio. This is where all those decisions begin to become the real thing; from the structure and fall of the fabric to the smallest hand-finished details.
-
Your final fitting is the moment everything comes together. The last adjustments are made before your finished gown is carefully prepared and ready to leave the studio with you.
A PORTRAIT OF YOUR GOWN
Our gift to you...
Every Annie Leona bride is invited to a complimentary editorial portrait session, professionally photographed in a location chosen to reflect you, your gown and your story.
Taking place before or after your wedding day, the session is a chance to step into your gown away from the rush of the day itself and create something a little more considered, capturing both the piece we created together and the woman it was made for through a fashion-led editorial lens.
Choose somewhere meaningful to you or allow us to dream up somewhere entirely new. Your session will be thoughtfully planned and creatively directed by Annie Leona, with a selection of professionally photographed images that are yours to keep.
A wedding gown is one of the few garments we choose knowing we may wear it only once, yet keep it for a lifetime.
