“Having a wedding dress designed and made by Annie was such an amazing experience from start to finish. Annie took in all my ideas and created a beautiful and versatile dress that truly felt like a collaborative art piece. 

I tasked Annie with the idea of a transformative dress that started out as a full length traditional lace gown for the ceremony portion of the wedding, and turned into a shorter flapper style dress for the evening dancing. Although it was the exact same dress, it felt like a completely different vibe.

Annie also had great suggestions throughout the dress-making process; for example, I originally had the idea of flowy boho-style sleeves, but through experimentation we realised this didn’t suit the traditional vintage vibes of the rest of the dress. The sleeves became a perfectly hand crafted idea where lace motifs intertwined with my own botanical tattoos, making for a truly unique experience.

The dress felt totally sculpted to my body—because it was. This ensured it was very comfortable to wear for a long day. 

As someone who didn’t feel confident entering a bridal shop, and had big ideas of how I wanted my dress to look and perform, having a custom made piece by Annie was the only way to go, in my opinion. I have never felt as beautiful in a dress before. 

Having a custom made bespoke wedding dress gave me confidence on my wedding day that I never felt before. I still get so many compliments on my dress, from both friends and strangers.
